A complete dismantling project is studied to decide how to carry out each part, paying attention to the following process:

Decontamination: 

• Pump-out of all contaminant liquids.
• Processing liquids in the corresponding tanks.
• Removal of asbestos (if any) by an approved company.
• Pumping fuel and oil into a tank.
• Degassing tanks.

Dismantling:

• Disassembly of all elements, electronic components in the bridge and equipment for its re-use.
• Cutting and lowering the superstructure to the ground for final cutting.
• Emptying the hull and transferring it to a ramp.
• Removing the hull on the ramp to the work area, placing it over the liquid collection channel.

Recycling:

• Selection of materials.
• Cleaning materials for better valuation.
• Delivery of metals to the steelworks.
